The CW network, which launched as a joint venture between CBS and Warner Bros. in the 2006 season, includes programming from both the former UPN ("America's Next Top Model") and The WB ("Smallville") in addition to original programs such as "Gossip Girl" and "90210."

The CW aims to appeal to women between the ages of 18-34 and has allowed Media Rights Capital to program its Sunday night line-up.
