2008 National Aboriginal Achievement Awards

Established in 1993, this awards program recognizes outstanding achievements by Canadians of First Nations, Inuit and Metis heritage in fields as diverse as arts and culture, heritage and spirituality, education, medicine, and agriculture. There are also special awards for young achievers - between 15 and 24 years old. This year's ceremony airs from the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto.
