Ugly Betty
This series focuses on the life of wannabe writer Betty Suarez, a plain girl from Queens, New York, who is smart, hardworking and savvy. When publishing mogul Bradford Meade puts son Daniel in charge of his fashion magazine, he hires Betty to be Daniel's new assistant - mostly because he knows she's the only woman in Manhattan with whom his offspring won't sleep.
