Premise of 'Ace of Cakes'

He looks more like a rowdy rock star, but Duff Goldman actually is a pastry-decorating virtuoso. You don't come to Goldman, one of the most sought-after cake decorators in America, for a standard birthday cake. You come to Goldman when you want a wedding cake that looks as if it sprang from the imagination of Dr. Seuss, or an amazingly detailed creation that looks like a fully operating Jeep or a near-perfect recreation of Wrigley Field. Armed with power tools and the tenacity of his creative team, Goldman turns out cakes that are genuine works of art.
