Show Summary

HGTV searches for another ultimate nonprofessional handyman or woman in the second season of this competition series. It begins with 15 men and five women, who take part in a series of timed ``fix-it'' quizzes and construction projects (designing and laying a patio floor with interlocking stone, for example) under the discriminating eyes of three experts -- contractors Mike Holmes and Scott McGillivray, and a weekly special guest judge. Each competitor who doesn't impress them is told to hang up his or her tool belt, and the overall winner receives a $10,000 shopping spree and a show development deal with HGTV. Molly Culver returns as host.
