Meg is a Philadelphia teen in the 1960s who dances on Dick Clark's locally produced ``American Bandstand.'' As she becomes an adult, Meg finds herself grappling with serious issues as her friends and family are affected by the war in Vietnam, racism, feminism, and even teen marriage and pregnancy.
