Premise: Julie Chen returns as host as this summer exercise in reality and voyeurism starts its eighth edition, which is scheduled to air three nights a week: Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9 and Thursdays at 8. A new interactive element, America's Player, is added to the show this season. The houseguest chosen to be America's Player must complete tasks chosen by viewers in an online vote.
