Premise: ``Big Night Out'' showcases how parties have changed over the years. Rather than being just a means to celebrate and have a good time, young people now party as an act of rebellion, subsistence or survival -- especially outside the U.S. -- according to host Clive Martin, who the network calls ``Vice's T. S. Eliot of rave.'' Martin travels to locations around the world to discover how partying has evolved to what it is today, with people gathering to ``get loaded and dance to loud music.'' Among Martin's stops are the Ukraine, where he goes behind rebel lines, and Greece, where Martin parties with refugees.
