I don't know if this is actually its finale, but it is the last filmed episode of Big Shots. *Sniff* I think I'm going to miss my Desperate Businessmen...
This week on Big Shots, a big development with James and Katie, we get to see Brody do his job, Karl's unfortunate triangle returns, and Duncan ducks a major crisis. Oh, and someone may be dead.
Why, hello there Big Shots. It's been ages! Let's take a moment to get reacquainted, shall we? When we last saw our favorite Desperate Businessmen:...
This week's Big Shots picks up where we last saw our favorite Desperate Businessmen ...
Oh, Big Shots. How you frustrate me. Just when I thought certain plotlines were dead and buried, here you go resurrecting them like stupid, drunken frat guys in a cemetery on Halloween. Where's Ash and his boomstick when you need him? At any rate, a whole lot of crazy stuff went down in this week's episode. A whole lot. This is might take awhile...
There were a lot of offers thrown around this week's episode of Big Shots and, fortunately for us, none of them had to do with transsexual call girls or little black books. Hooray!
I'm back after a week's hiatus - thanks so much to Sarah who filled in for me last week. I know, I said there'd be shirtlessness. I apologize that you covered the one episode in which there wasn't any. On this week's Big Shots, we finally (hopefully) resolved one big plot point that was working my nerves and featured two grown men fighting in tights. That's what they call a win-win situation.
This week on Big Shots, we learn that sex complicates things -- and destroys your golf swing. Who knew? Among the complications: Duncan chokes out the word "monogamy," then tries to embrace the concept, not other women; Karl's wife ropes him into setting up his ex-mistress on a date; James dives back into the old bouncy-bouncy and almost loses his work wife; and Brody -- okay, Brody's just dealing with other people's complicated sex lives. On the upside, no tired marriage jokes from him this week!
Nothing says "we're sorry your personal life if falling apart" like a leased Ferrari and a party full of vapid 22-year-olds. Tonight on Big Shots, offers are made, offers are refused and everyone gets a second chance at doing something.
The second episode of Big Shots pleasantly surprised me. While unfortunately still suffering from some fairly predictable moments, the show took a few big steps forward thanks to some much more original situations, a new character that I actually enjoyed, and continued solid acting from its talented cast. I'm optimistic, my friends. Hopefully, my optimism won't get crushed beneath the heavy heels of ever-threatening mediocrity.
