Hmm...something tells me Emily Deschanel, vegan and animal rights activist extraordinaire, had something to do with tonight's episode of "Bones."
Wow, they really aren't kidding around with the Booth/Brennan stuff this season on "Bones," are they? Not that I'm complaining!
"Bones" combined two of my favorite things tonight: bashing the suburbs and Parker Booth.
"Bones" gave us an intriguing juxtaposition of Amish life and teenage hormones tonight, but I'm still not sure how I feel about the case's out-of-nowhere conclusion.
"Bones" dabbled in international intrigue tonight with an appropriately convoluted plot, but didn't leave Booth and Brennan fans completely out in the cold.
Tonight's season premiere of "Bones" on FOX really gave Booth and Brennan fans something to squee about.
Yeah, yeah, we had a nasty bendy corpse in a barrel of wine, but who cares -- this is the episode of "Bones" where Brennan asks Booth to be her baby daddy! Plus, a whole lot that has been going on starts to make sense, and the last scenes are absolutely fantastic. Well done, Bones!
Tonight Bones stuck to the formula that keeps me addicted, with a quirky mystery (presence of college mascot = quirky), plenty of quippage, and just the right amount of deeper personal material to keep it from feeling like junk food TV. Plus, of course, a priceless Booth/Brennan scene at the end.
"Bones" put a lot more thought into Japanese subcultures than the actual crime this week. I can forgive that when there are decent character moments. On that score, we got some sweet Booth/Brennan interaction, one relatively rounded guest character, one featureless guest caricature, and a whole lot of nothing for the lab rats to do.
