Premise of 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew'

After the recent high-profile rehab stints by Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson, Michael Richards and many other stars, it probably was only a matter of time before a reality series like this one came along. Dr. Drew Pinsky ("Loveline") chronicles the progress of celebrities undergoing a 21-day around-the-clock detox and rehabilitation program at a center in the Los Angeles area and offers viewers new insights into what such programs involve as well as various treatments available to help addicts and alcoholics break the cycle of substance addiction.
