Premise: Todd Chrisley is a self-made millionaire who has a seemingly great life in Atlanta with wife Julie and their five children. Known as a ``patriarch of perfection,'' he runs the family with an iron fist -- as he does with his business -- and micromanages every move made by the family members -- going so far as to decide the hem length of his daughter's ``sweet 16'' dress. Although it may seem from the outside that the Chrisleys have a fairy-tale life, the family deals with the same issues and drama that many families do. Matriarch Julie, the daughter of a Baptist minister and a former Miss Carolina, is Todd's business partner and best friend. Their children include eldest daughter Lindsie, who typically butts heads with her father; eldest son Kyle, who was shipped to Samoa by his parents after he was caught with a married woman; and teenage pageant queen Savannah, who dreams of becoming Miss Georgia. Over time, the kids begin to leave the nest, leaving young Grayson in the house.
Todd signs the family up with a local charity to teach his children about giving back; Grayson's school project causes a rift.
The Chrisleys enter a Halloween decoration contest; Julie loses patience with Todd's competitive spirit; Lindsie opens up to her family.
