Premise: David Rocco returns to Italy and travels to the Amalfi coast. Each episode welcomes viewers into the kitchens of local homes, restaurants and farms. Keeping with the ``cucina povera'' tradition, the mammas, nonnas and chefs create simple, rustic Italian dishes that define the region. Rocco travels through the mountains and beaches of this seaside destination to celebrate the ingredients and traditions of Amalfi. Cooking is only half of the story, when David meets, breaks bread and has fun with the people of Amalfi.
