Premise: Host Karen McAloon brings her experience working in floral and landscape design, interior design and event planning to ``Design Remix.'' She designs new looks for existing rooms on a small budget using things found in other parts of the house. Paint, fabrics and simple makeover ideas also are incorporated to change the look of any room and surprise the homeowners with the finished product.
