It's Erin Burnett's turn to step out front and try to maintain a viable viewer presence for CNN in the early evening weekday news arena. But the former CNBC anchor won't worry about ratings for her hourlong general news program, comparing that burden to ``death.'' Instead, she'll concern herself with translating world events into relevant information for viewers, paying close attention to such topics as the Middle East and women's issues. ``I want people to say that our show is smart. I want our show to be authentic,'' Burnett says in a promo. ``I want our show to have courage.'' Left unsaid, of course, is that she wants her show to have a a big audience, too.
