Premise: ``ESPNFC Press Pass'' has been broadcast since 2002 but, before 2012, it was never shown in the U.S. That's understandable -- it's a soccer-centric show, and soccer in the rest of the world is like the NFL in the States. But the program's popularity on ESPN International is what convinced the network to make it available to U.S. viewers, and thus it becomes the first daily soccer studio show on U.S. television. It features panelists, including Frank Leboeuf, Tommy Smyth, Shaka Hislop, Janusz Michallik and Steve Nicol, discussing and debating global soccer news.
