Show Summary

Young comedy writer Leo Gorelick tries to live his life while putting up with never-ending problems involving his close-knit but overbearing family. Jake, Leo's eccentric father, considers himself quite a ladies' man. Mickey is Leo's mother, who has been divorced from Jake for 20 years, though she still obsesses about him. Leo's self-absorbed brother, Marty, is a doctor about to be married for the third time. Trina is Leo's sympathetic writing partner.
