Extreme Chef

Premise: In the second season of ``Extreme Chef,'' seven chefs are taken out of the comfort zones of their kitchens and dropped into some of the world's most extreme locations, from California's scorching deserts to the exotic jungles of Thailand, where they compete in grueling culinary challenges. Among the challenges the chefs face are creating a tasty dish out of needles pulled from a cactus pad and rescuing ingredients for their meal from a capsized fishing boat in the ocean. After each challenge, a rotating panel of judges determines the bottom two chefs, who then face off in a showdown to determine which contestant goes home. At the end of five episodes, the last chef standing earns the $50,000 grand prize.
