Premise: A dash of documentary with a pinch of soap-opera drama, this Food Network Canada series follows a real-life family in their struggles and successes of running a restaurant. Two restaurants, actually -- the family operates an elegant Mandarin dining room, along with a fast-food-style lunch counter. Mom Amy, Dad Kinman, and their three children -- Miles, Mandy and Marty -- experience the joys and pains of working with their nearest and dearest.
