Premise: In a town where you can never be too young or too thin, can an overweight woman of a certain age find success? That's the question ``Fat Actress'' explores as thespian Kirstie Alley (best known for playing Rebecca on popular sitcom ``Cheers'') plays a fictionalized version of herself, looking for love and that next big roll -- er, role. Much of the show is based on experiences from Alley's life. A number of well-known actors and actresses appear in cameos as themselves, adding a bit more realism to the semibiographical comedy series.
