FX: The Series

Aussie special effects wizard Rollie Tyler - a genius with makeup and mechanical gadgets -- and his team of experts assist detectives of the New York Police Department in bringing down bad guys after dazzling them with Rollie's brand of smoke and mirrors. Backing him up are Angie, a skate-wearing film-school graduate, and Lucinda, who can play virtually any age with any accent. Rollie works at first with a friend, Detective Leo McCarthy, and later with Detective Mira Sanchez from Internal Affairs. Other characters include Leo's young partner, Frank, and VanDuren, their smarmy boss.
