Ty Ty Walden is a Georgia farmer obsessed with finding a fortune in gold that is rumored to be buried on his farm. The quest for riches is completely disrupting the lives of his family, including his three sons: jealous Buck, who believes his wife, Griselda, still loves Will, who is married to Ty Ty's daughter, Rosamund; Shaw, who is single; and wealthy and estranged son Jim, who has moved away.
