Premise: This eight-part miniseries chronicles the fascinating yet ultimately tragic career of Timothy Treadwell, the wildlife filmmaker and photographer who spent 13 summers in an Alaska national park, filming a community of wild grizzly bears. Ultimately, Treadwell was killed by one of the animals that so enthralled him, but this production -- culled from Treadwell's diaries, archived footage and more than 10,000 still photographs -- helps explain his obsessive passion.
