Premise: Scientist Francesca Garigue, engineer Dan Dicaire and special-effects engineer Brendan Callaghan test potential home hazards in a real house. Blazing kitchen fires, erupting vacuum cleaners and bursting helium tanks are all in a day's work. In each episode, Garigue, Dicaire and Callaghan re-create some of the most dangerous home hazards, using state of the art technology and scientific experiments. The three hosts set out to discover just how much a house can endure when human error results in disaster.
