I'm Gonna Explode

Introspective Mexican teen Maru longs for someone to understand her. She finds a kindred spirit in Román, the son of a conservative politician who displays his own angst at a school talent show. When Maru cheers on his outrageous and rebellious act, the two are punished together, forming a close bond. Soon the young couple runs away, but where they hide out from the world proves to be unexpected.
