Premise: When most people think of talking puppets being used in TV shows and movies, the first name that typically comes to mind is Jim Henson, the late puppeteer who invented The Muppets. His name and spirit live on through his company, The Jim Henson Company, which is using this reality series to give 10 contestants the opportunity of a lifetime: a contract working at the legendary Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The hopefuls -- who include a fourth-generation artist, a mask maker with 15 years of creature creation and a few ``demons in his closet,'' and a sculptor who currently works for Walt Disney Imagineering -- face challenges that include tests in sculpting, animatronics and full-body creature creation, with some being inspired by Henson's TV shows and movies. The lead judge is Brian Henson -- Jim's son -- with fabricator Beth Hathaway and creature designer Kirk R. Thatcher also on the judges' panel. Gigi Edgley, who starred on The Jim Henson Company-produced ``Farscape,'' hosts.
