Junk Raiders

Premise: A construction crew has a budget of $5,000 and one month to transform a 1,600-square-foot abandoned factory into a fully functioning living and work space, and if that sounds improbable, think about this added criteria: they must do so using only items that others have discarded. The team is led by two of Toronto's top freecyclers (people who find a use for other's garbage), joined by five construction and design professionals who are accustomed to building with new materials and trashing still-useful items.
