Ladies of the Chorus

Being a chorus girl is a family tradition for single mother May Martin and her daughter, Peggy . But when the lead in the burlesque show they're in walks out, Peggy finds herself catapulted to overnight fame as the star attraction. May tries to advise her naïve daughter about those who would try to take advantage of her, especially her old socialite boyfriend, Randy Carroll . Peggy falls for him anyway, and it's unclear if his intentions are serious.
