Show Summary

The series documents the lives of Canadians who live on the natural resources of the eastern coast of the country. They are the stories of people who keep the oldest traditions alive and protect their unique cultures and ways of life. Each episode features a different aspect of Atlantic Canadian life, from the resources that economically fueled the region to family-owned businesses that have been staples in the area for generations. Also included are episodes which focus on specific communities as well as recounts of historical events and true stories of survival and triumph.
