Well, here we are. We've come to the end of another season of Las Vegas.
Oh Las Vegas, you go and disappoint me for weeks on end, and then, just as I've written off the entire season, you decide to get better.
I find it so comforting to know that even in the midst of the on-going WGA strike Las Vegas somehow manages to have new episodes week after week after week.
After two of the most ridiculous episodes Las Vegas has ever subjected us to, I had high hopes for tonight. I hoped that there would be no assassins. I hoped that there would be no disturbing, nonsensical, paternity issues.
So Danny is now in all about the miracle of life. He's learning about his forthcoming child, he wants to take parenting classes, and he's talking about nipples in public.
Can you imagine that Las Vegas has produced 100 episodes? Wow, they've managed to come up with 100 episodes of nonsense (more than, really).
There's something wonderful about Cooper-based episodes of Las Vegas. This wasn't one, but at least he set the plot in motion, and that makes everything better.
Where would television be without venerable Christmas stories to rip off pay homage to this time of year? Las Vegas goes the "Christmas Carol" route, with Mike Cannon getting visits from the spangled ghosts of Vegas past, present and future ...
We're dealing with the fallout from two big events this week on Las Vegas: First, the gas attack and subsequent robbery of the Montecito casino floor, and second, Cooper's firing of Sam.
So, tonight on Las Vegas, Danny McCoy forgot to sign for a money transfer and the Montecito had no cash on hand. When the patrons found out, the entire casino pretty much went ballistic and were one step shy of grabbing pitchforks and torches and attacking Danny. Yeah, that would never happen in the real world.
