Determined to have it all, brassy law school graduate Lisa Hunter enters the world of power players in her new job as assistant state attorney in Baltimore, while laid-back hubby Kevin, a college basketball coach, does his part on the home front to help care for their kids, Tess and Griffin. At the office, Lisa fends off the obnoxious comments of smarmy co-worker Lyndon Knox and her sarcastic division chief, Jerome Nash, although associate DeeDee Lucas is a perky little ray of sunshine.
