Premise: They've supported their men on the road to hip-hop stardom, and the women featured in this docu-series have mostly remained in the background. Now they're looking for their share of the spotlight and a lot more respect in a largely male-dominated industry. Chrissy Lampkin is the longtime girlfriend of hip-hop star Jim Jones, and along with Emily Bustamante, who is the mother of a baby boy with rapper Fabulous, they long for a marriage commitment from their men. Meanwhile, looking to bust out as solo artists are Olivia Longott, formerly of 50 Cent's G-Unit, and Somaya ``Boss'' Reece, a West Coast rapper with plans to take New York by storm. There's also bi-racial model Kimberly Vanderhee, who is trying to break into the pop music biz, and talent manager Yandy Smith, who counts Jones among her clients.
