Premise: A longstanding family feud plays out week after week at Bowman Gray Stadium, a NASCAR short track in North Carolina. Known as the Madhouse, the ramming, spin-outs, high-speed crashes and fistfights are pretty much expected as families race to win and to settle scores. This feuding tradition has its roots in the moonshine-running days of the Roaring '20s, and some of the family rivalries date back that far and continue to this day.
