When most people think of fishing, they think of a relaxing afternoon in a boat on the water with a rod, some bait and family or friends with them. But that's not how fishing is for ``mudcatters,'' people who go hand fishing for giant flathead catfish. This type of fishing isn't very relaxing. The mudcatter gets into the water and waits to be bitten by a fish, at which time he wedges his hand down into the fish's gullet and wrestles it into the boat. Bites from turtles, snakes and beavers are not uncommon and, in fact, are a part of the activity. This series follows some of the best mudcatters in Oklahoma, including fourth-generation mudcatter Scooter Bevins and young gun Teddy Good.
