My Embarrassing Family

Premise: Admit it. When you were a teenager, you were embarrassed by your parents (and maybe still are) and didn't like all the rules they had for you. That situation describes the teens on this show, who are trying to do something about it. The teens dig into their overprotective parents' pasts in order to uncover secrets that would get the parents to loosen the reins. During their search, the teens find out who their parents really were as teens and why they are so strict.
