Here we are. The moment hundreds of you have been waiting for - the revelation of who will be this season's Nashville Star. Over/under on cumulative length of "dramatic pauses" - six minutes.
With the finale coming up around the bend, the last contestants standing on Nashville Star get warm welcomes and perform concerts in their home towns before going facing the judges and getting all the votes as they can.
It's original song night on Nashville Star! Hooray for no awkward covers! They're performing at the Grand Ole Opry! I really should stop using so many exclamation points!
The final six contestants perform love songs on tonight's Nashville Star. Insert witty quip and/or pun here.
To switch things up, and accelerate the show's timetable, tonight's episode of Nashville Star features the first double elimination show. Also, Shawn Mayer is my new hero.
On tonight's Nashville Star, the contestants get surprise visits from their families during their mentoring sessions with Jeffrey Steele, John Rich and Jewel. And gladly, no group number. Hooray! Unless I missed it in the first minute of the show...but either way, hooray! In it's place, the singers get to do two numbers. That's one extra chance for them to fall on their faces..er...I mean wow us.
Oh, Nashville Star, why would you do such a thing so early in the competition? It's "Pop Goes Country" night and I don't think Jewel can save my soul. (Hey, at least I waited three weeks to make that kind of joke.)
After a fairly dismal start, the contestants of Nashville Star decided to stop being mediocre as a whole and elevate to decent status. Bless their hearts.
Dear Powers in the 'Verse: Please don't let there be that many instances of people singing "Sweet Home Alabama," "Brown Eyed Girl," and/or, for all that is good and just, "American Pie" on this, the intro episode of Nashville Star. Thank you.
