When Lucas and Keith learn about Dan's heart attack, they decide to return to Tree Hill; Deb grows hostile when she learns of Haley and Nathan's marriage; Peyton and Brooke try to mend their friendship.
Lucas and Nathan bear Dan's abuse as he coaches them into the playoffs, pushing them both to the breaking point; after Dan threatens her, Haley reconsiders her relationship with Nathan; Whitey learns his medical condition is serious.
Lucas, assisted by Peyton and Brooke, throws Nathan and Haley a wedding reception; Haley's parents (Huey Lewis, Bess Armstrong) support the union, but Deb has a hard time accepting it; Dan tries to mend relationships with Deb and Lucas.
