Redneck Island

Genre: Reality

Premise: Fifteen contestants -- all self-proclaimed rednecks and proud of it -- are taken out of their element and sent to a remote tropical paradise, where they compete against one another in a series of redneck-style challenges for a chance to win $100,000. This season's contestants include an exterminator who says he can fix anything with a roll of tape, an electrician who has been riding bulls since he was a kid, and a former correctional officer who raises rabbits for food. Many of the contestants have similar plans for what they would do with the cash if they win, which usually involves buying a truck or a double-wide trailer.
