Redneck Island

Premise: ``Proud owner of one of the loudest burps in Kentucky'' isn't likely to be part of the biography of many people -- political candidates, for example -- but it is included in the bio of Heather Maier, one of 14 contestants competing on the second season of ``Redneck Island.'' The competitors, a group that also includes a country store manager and a hog-hunting hairstylist, are taken out of their element and forced to fend for themselves on a tropical island, competing in elimination challenges that test their mental and physical abilities. The contestant that survives until the end of the season and is declared the winner returns to his or her redneck lifestyle $100,000 richer. Former professional wrestler Steve Austin guides the contestants through the challenges as host.
