Premise: Chef Robert Irvine has become known for helping restaurant owners turn around their failing businesses on ``Restaurant: Impossible.'' Now he's giving one of nine chefs a chance to fulfill his or her lifelong dream of launching a restaurant. Over the course of seven episodes, the contestants visit various cities in the American West on a bus to compete in challenges that test their culinary skills and business savvy as potential restaurateurs. Irvine reviews the chefs' performances after each challenge and eliminates the least successful competitor. But with only eight beds on the bus, one person is eliminated almost immediately -- based on his or her pitch and restaurant concept -- and left behind as the remaining chefs begin their journey. At the other end of the spectrum, the winner earns the chance to help launch and become the executive chef of a restaurant located just minutes away from the Strip in Las Vegas.
