Sex and a Girl

Growing up in the 1970s, aspiring dancer Alex Markov is challenged by the changing face of American culture. After her parents' divorce, she lives alone with her mom, Clarice . And while her dad, Dan, avidly embraces the sexual revolution, Alex isn't so sure she wants to acquiesce to her boyfriend's advances, despite pressure from her female peers to do so. At the same time, she must decide whether or not to pursue a professional dancing career.
