Genre: Reality, Figure Skating
Premise: First, it was the ballroom. Now, celebrities will try to tackle the ice as they pair up with professional ice skaters to learn enough skating moves to impress the panel of judges. The couples are challenged to incorporate intense moves into their routines each week. The judges score the competitors on artistry and technique and the viewers vote for their favorites, leading to a weekly elimination. Olympic skier Jonny Moseley, Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil and actress Sean Young are among the inaugural crop of celebrity skaters.
Five long and often violent weeks of competition come to a close.
