Premise: The title sounds like it could be the name of a comic book, but the larger-than-life heroes profiled in this series were real flesh-and-blood individuals whose actions and dedication were, in a way, just as inspiring as those of any fictional four-color creation. Husband-and-wife hosts Bob and Penny Lord bring the stories of the saints to life, as they travel to the specific regions where these holy figures resided, give a biographical account of their lives, and visit the shrines dedicated to them.
