Show Summary

Under the mentorship of ``Survivorman'' Les Stroud, eight kids between the ages of 13 and 17 leave their world behind -- no cell phones or iPods; how will they cope? -- to face the challenges of surviving the great outdoors. In each episode, the teens are tested physically, emotionally and intellectually with challenges that include building a shelter, finding food and water, starting a fire and treating injuries. Unlike a typical competitive reality series, no one is eliminated from this one, but the kids can drop out at any time.
