Rescheduled once to accommodate CBS' sports schedule, and rescheduled a second time to avoid competing awards shows on CBS and MTV, the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards finally found a home on the CBS schedule on Sept. 20, 2009. Barring any other scheduling conflicts, of course. Broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, the television industry comes together to recognize outstanding performances from the previous season. Neil Patrick Harris hosts.
