How lucky, then, that babe-alicious screenwriter/waitress Penny just moved next door. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?
When we last left the collective brain trust that are the boys on The Big Bang Theory, Leonard and Penny were on their very first date. Which had been kicked off by their first real kiss. Which is about as dramatic a cliff hanger ending you can get in the life of a geek.
Not since Firefly have we heard Mandarin on American television, but tonight The Big Bang Theory injected some international humor into our sitcom diet. But it's more of a side dish to contrast the main course, which is the as yet unknown romantic frontier. Let's boldly go.
On occasion, I have to put aside my own inherent mistrust of all things mystical in nature and wonder if Jung's theories about an undercurrent to the universe that connects all of us in intricate and unknowable ways are as completely silly as they seem.
I never had a brother, much less a genius brother. Tonight's episode of The Big Bang Theory made me more than glad of that fact. Of course, my two sisters have found plenty of ways to embarrass me over the years.
The opening sequence of The Big Bang Theory left me baffled this evening. While I agree that proper sandwich construction is important, it didn't fit with the episode's central plot about time travel.
I suppose they can't all be winners. That was part of the message in The Big Bang Theory tonight. But really, who doesn't win with a discussion of pon farr?
