Genre: Crime Drama
Premise: Jarek Wysocki is a veteran of the Chicago Police Department and one of the department's most-respected officers. He is polite and charming but goes through partners like people go through tissues. His latest partner is Caleb, an observant young detective desperate to prove himself. Jarek keeps close tabs on his niece, Vonda, a rookie cop on the beat. Wysocki's main adversary is building magnate-turned-politician Ronin Gibbons, who Jarek is convinced is dirty.
