It was a big night tonight on "The Chopping Block." For the first time on the show, Marco actually got to fire someone! Yes, it was three weeks in the making, but Marco finally got to flex those muscles and can people tonight. If only he'd made someone cry.
If "The Chopping Block" is going to work as a show it seems like they need to do some things slightly differently. I'm only talking about pretty easy stuff here, stuff like actually explaining to the audience what's going on. Oh, and quitters, the show needs to not have a bunch of quitters for contestants, that would help too.
Take eight couples, two restaurants, and one feisty chef and you get NBC's latest reality series, The Chopping Block. Think of it as a mix of a dozen other shows you've already seen, some of which you've actually enjoyed. Seriously though, it's a show where folks are competing to start their own restaurant and it seems like an awfully good time.
