Premise: After 19 seasons in Major League Baseball, including two World Series-winning seasons, the Florida Marlins decided to get a new identity in 2012 by changing the team's name to the Miami Marlins while moving into a new stadium. This documentary series follows the team during its season of change -- from the offseason, including the signing of free-agent shortstop Jose Reyes, through spring training and into the regular season. Reyes joins a team that includes former batting champ Hanley Ramirez -- until his July trade to the Los Angeles Dodgers -- and slugger Giancarlo Stanton, who underwent a name change himself, as he was previously known as Mike Stanton. Outspoken (and often controversial) manager Ozzie Guillen joins the team in 2012 after spending the previous eight seasons as skipper of the Chicago White Sox. Also new to the team from the Windy City is former Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano.
