Premise: Four best friends -- Marina, Kiki, Twist and Shout -- attend music school together and perform as the Fresh Beat Band, in turn teaching preschoolers ways to appreciate music and express themselves through movement and song. Set to original pop songs, each episode of this half-hour series also features story lines that present everyday challenges for the foursome and the kids on the show to solve, and highlights the importance of friendship, working in unison in a positive way and respecting differences in others.
